The orchid show!

Alright, I know it is a bit dorky, but I went to the orchid show at the New York Botanical Gardens on Saturday. It was fantastic. The subway ride on the way up was not. First off, the Bronx is far away. Couple that with the fact that the 4 was running local all the way up. All the way up until two stops until mine stop at which point it decided to run local to the end of the line; so we rode the train all the way until the end and had to go back down. Then I got on a bus. Most of you know my feelings on taking the bus but try finding a cab way up in the Bronx.

Sunday, I finally couldn’t wait any longer; Trader Joe’s beckoned. I think it was the first time I waited in line to get into a grocery store. It was well worth it though. Funny how they cannot keep things in stock, at this rate they are going to be very successful.
