The heat is back. The brother is in town. A friend has been fired. The screen on the phone no longer works. The apartment situation may finally be resolved…

As you may have noticed (and it was, already expressed) we have a new contributor. I think all will be happy. It has been said before, this space is now open for contributors and their various opining selves.

I spent the better part of today watching the confirmation hearings.
